The local church is DRC's Hope
We believe that the hope for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is the power of God manifested through the local church. God has divinely placed the local church in villages and in cities to be agents of transformation and hope. The key to having transformational churches is having biblically trained, Spirit empowered Pastors.
Training New Pastors is the Key
The Church in DRC has grown to around 2,000 local churches, Yet there are only about 600 trained pastors.

Struggles help Church grow strong
The DRC is coming out of long struggle. In the midst of these struggles The Assemblies of God in the DRC has emerged stronger than ever. Conflict and suffering have served to help clarify their vision and strategy. The leadership has identified their priorities as Pentecostal renewal, leadership training and compassion ministries. Their vision is large and challenging. They want to rebuild and reorganize their 5 existing bible schools and then open 20 extension centers. These extension centers would provide the means to train as many pastors as possible.
We are Excited!
We are excited to be going back to the DRC. We see now how the last 10 years in Togo with our involvement in leadership training and compassion ministries has prepared us for future ministry in the DRC. We are excited to come along side the DRC Church to serve and to help them in the realization of their plans for an extensive Bible School training network that reaches the entire country.
